Since joining OPCS in 2022, Liz has demonstrated exceptional leadership, compassion, and commitment to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness on their path toward stability and self-sufficiency. Beginning as a Case Manager in our Permanent Supportive Housing Program and most recently serving at Casa Del Pueblo Low-Barrier Shelter, she has provided trauma-informed services, housing navigation, crisis intervention, recovery support, and resource coordination for some of our community’s most vulnerable residents. Her ability to build strong relationships with clients, collaborate with community partners, and lead with empathy has made a lasting impact on both participants and staff.
Prior to joining OPCS, she served as a Recovery Coach Team Lead at Gospel Rescue Mission and spent nearly a decade with the Arizona Department of Corrections, where she developed expertise in leadership, crisis management, and client support.
With extensive experience in human services, housing, recovery services, and behavioral health support, she is well prepared to lead her program team as the Low-Barrier Shelter Program Manager, and further advance OPCS’s mission.
